This has been a staple fundraiser for many Des Moines area schools and organizations. Many have now made this an annual tradition because of the great fundraising success our auction items provide! Collect your class or group thumbprints on a plate, bowl, vase, or other pottery piece. Pay shelf price for your items, we will package paints, supplies, and instructions to ensure you get great thumbprints. Upon return for glazing and firing, Glazed Expressions' talented artists will transform the thumbprints into critters, flowers, or other themed items, and add individual names and information at no additional charge. Our custom painting rate is $35 per hour, but for schools and non-profits we are glad to donate up to one hour of artist time per auction item.
