In July of 1999, Glazed Expressions first opened it's doors in Clive, Iowa. Originally opening as a Paint-It-Yourself Pottery Studio, Glazed Expressions has since expanded it's space twice and added multiple new mediums over the past 20 years. In December of 2019, Glazed Expressions opened their second studio location in Ankeny, Iowa. Glazed Expressions is a family owned and operated, female lead business. Laura being an original owner since 1999, is the queen bee of the studio. Her daughter Maddie, came on full time in 2012 even though she had been working in the studio since she was 13. Glazed Expressions prides themselves on not only being the Des Moines Metro's Premier Do-It-Yourself Art Studio, but also by coaching, presenting, and working closely with with other studio owners and vendors to better our industry.
